When I recently upgraded my service, the Verizon Rep insisted that I needed a new modem/router to full advantage of the faster service. I trusted the person and bought a new router for $79.99. I was shocked to see that the new router was almost identical to the one I had already. Can anyone tell me if the new router is faster? I don't see any improvement in service. Verizon has been unable to answer this question.
