Trying to playback a "recording in progress" from a remote set top box is infuriating. I have a recording scheduled and in progress on the the main DVR. I decide to watch it from a remote set top box while it's still recording. When I use the Fast Forward Button, the expected behavior is for the remote box to stop if it reaches the current recording limit of the show on the main DVR but NO, it automatically resets to the beginning of the show. I then have to find the current location of where I was watching by fast forwarding again and hopefully stopping before reaching the "current" recording of the show.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue or have a solution?
