I told this very thing to Cablevision when I left. It is a very bad Paradigm. From all cable company's. I even told Cablevision to get me off their list and to never bother me. They said to bad and good bye. They were willing to do nothing. Of course they still send flyers and the occasional salesman. Which I ignore. Of course one was persistent and caught me. I gave him an earful. I was like you guys owe me a free year of service. Provide that and I will come back. Never heard from that salesman again. lol
I never understood why there is no retention loyalty program? 1 to 3 year level, 3 to 5 , 5 to 10 ect. Each level gives you more and more. When you reach 20 years you get best price and free hbo for life ect.
In a world where company's reward loyality. Cable company's do not.
